This project is based on how stereotypes defined Malays as an exaggerated belief associated with a category. Issues that were brought up in this falsehood are the social issues of the Singaporean young adults in the middle-class group. These issues focused on Malay cultural context through their physical appearances therefore, it would shape the stereotypes in which they have judged upon. Malays have been known to be on the external surface since the beginning of colonization in education and politics and an awareness of their marginal position in Singapore’s multi-ethnic society. In addition, the statement in each of the images evokes undisclosed messages which reveal the truth about them or the inner voice to the society that changes the perception of Malays.
